On line blackjack - Splitting
On line blackjack follows the same rules as casino blackjack; including the splitting pairs rules. You are offered the option to split when your first two cards have the same value (i.e. two sixes). Splitting, in on line blackjack, means placing another bet to equal your initial bet. The two cards are then separated and you play them as two separate hands. Some on line blackjack casinos allow you to "resplit" if you get another same-value card. Special rules apply when on line blackjack players spilt Aces. You receive one more card, and it's not Blackjack if you get 21.
